now i know (poem)

now i know why you called me the devil

walk like it, talk like it

can’t really be about it

let me put you to sleep, baby

let me warm you

tsunami you

drown you in this tropical storm

or did you wanna play a game?

exalt me with another stepping stone to your growth

teach you a lesson or two

tell me again you weren’t expecting that

threw it back just to surprise you

it’s, miss rose, if you nasty

or, articulate

rather, alive

breathing something more than wow

wow, on the back of my neck

wow, from the floor

wow, from every edge of the boat you crashed

but you knew how to sail?

but you knew what you were doing?

might’ve gave you too much megan

she’s right, you know?

glad you didn’t ask if i came

when you collapsed on the floor, i thought it answer enough in my laugh

next round, you got it right?

just gotta get ya sea legs, right.

round two come and gone, another three minutes to rewind in the movie

thought you’d do the knocking but you KO’d
